......Laughing Cat Books is a micro-publisher that specializes in interesting and informative works that would otherwise not be in print. Presently, we have over two dozen books available and are working on about a dozen more.
.....With our Big Book series we are introducing a new concept to the publishing business. It is the simultaneous production and release of books in print and enhanced video compact disk. Each print title includes more than 200 letter sized pages with many in color. Compact disk editions, depending on the title, have between 1500 and 3500 images in slide show format and bonus items like magazine articles and additional pictures and images. Compact disk editions are viewable on any computer that has a slide show program and most do. They are a great bargain because you can purchase them at half the cost of the printed book and they may contain up to ten time the material.
.....Our first four Big Books are available now in print and on compact disk. They are: Corsets On Parade, a collection of corset ads from the 1860s through the 1920s, Hupmobile For Sale, a compilation of automobile ads from 1896 through the 1920s, Remington, Smith and Wesson, an anthology of gun advertisements from the mid-1800s through the 1950s and Cameras, Cars and Cosmo, The Whole Rochester Catalogue.
